September ABS Monthly Challenge

My September 2013 ABS Entry.

The beautiful Artisan Beads are from Mandrel 2 https://www.etsy.com/shop/mandrel2  (green shimmery leaves, clasp beads, gold round beads) and Elizabeth Creations https://www.etsy.com/shop/sharlee22 (pretty fall colored Artisan Bumpy Beads).  I added Sterling Silver Accents, Swarovski Crystals in copper, Freshwater Pearls in a soft green and the pendant is a Silver Ox Stamping.

The Hills Tribe Sterling Silver Leave Bead Caps were just a perfect touch as well as the other Sterling Silver Bead Caps that I thought looked like the grapes.  The Gold  Plated Pewter Bead Flower Wheel Beads seems so similar to the ornamentation on her bust areaMy Mucha inspiration was the Silver Pendant.  I have had this stamping for the longest time and finally it is where it should be in this design.

I loved the colors in this painting.  Colors changing from summer to fall - shades of green, orange and yellow and the browns and tans with just a little punch of red.

Autumn from "The Seasons Series" 1896
Alphonse Mucha Oil

  1. Hello Miss Pam! I would love to feature your necklace on the Art Bead Scene but I do not have enough information in your description of your picture on Flickr nor in your blog. I would like to know who made the art beads in your piece, as well as the links if you have them. You can email me with that information directly at enjoytheday@tesoritrovati.com ASAP otherwise, I will put you back in the running for next week. Thank you! Enjoy the day. Erin

  2. Just started following your blog. Thanks so much for steering me to mandrel2. Kim is absolutely amazing. I only design pieces for myself or family and I live in the mountains 45 minutes from Tehachapi Cali.

  5. Pam, this is absolutely stunning! I not only loved the piece by itself, but pairing it with the Seasons Series really brought the whole thing together. That is a lovely pendant, and the lampwork and silver truly complemented the entire piece. Very nice. I look forward to seeing it on The Art Bead Scene.
